About me...
Chris D. Steckel, originally from Allentown, PA, began his journey with theatre at the age of 12. After attending the Lehigh High Valley Charter High School for the Performing Arts, Chris moved to New York City in 2010 to attend Marymount Manhattan College. He majored in Theatre Arts with concentrations in Lighting Design and Stage Management.
While in the city, Chris has been stage managing, designing, and assisting on productions at school, regionally and off-broadway. New York collaborators include: Second Stage, Boomerang Theatre Company, Hip to Hip, Bespoke Theatricals, The Cell Theatre, AMDA, The York Theatre, Oceania Cruises, and Marymount Manhattan College.
Chris has been fortunate to work with Lori Ann Zepp, Chris Burney, Jim Morgan, Craig Baldwin, Ray Recht, Rob Dutiel, Kevin Connell, Ellen Orenstein, Kira Simring, Nancy Manocherian, Joe Barros, Michael Unger, Jeff Devolt, Pam Edington, and many more.
